Easy Coolroom Hire's Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick up the coolroom myself?

No. All equipment needs to be delivered at set up by us as stipulated by our insurer. This saves you time and the hassle. We will also deliver at least one day prior to your event to ensure the coolroom or freezer is at the right temperature. This will allow you to chill the contents correctly.

Where will you deliver to?

Our general service area includes Ballarat, Daylesford, Ararat, Geelong and Bacchus Marsh. We are however happy to take the units anywhere you like. Call us to discuss your requirements and we will provide an on the spot quote.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made by EFT, in person at APCO Skipton St Ballarat or COD. Tax invoices are provided.

Are the units secure?

Generally Yes. When we set up the coolroom, we will place a coupling lock on it to prevent it from being stolen with your valuables inside. Are of our coolrooms are lockable and you will be given a lock for them.

What power do I need to supply the coolrooms?

All of our coolrooms and freezers plug into a standard 10 AMP domestic power point or generator. A 25 meter industrial extension lead is supplied with the hire. If you are hiring multiple units, we recommend you use different circuits.

What happens if we hire a coolroom and it breaks down?

All of our coolrooms are well built and maintained. In the unlikely event of a break down, please call us immediately. Depending on availability we will either organise a refrigeration mechanic or a replacement unit as soon as we can. We will however accept no responsibility of loss of stock.
